After Errol Flynn's arrival in La La Land he quickly became Hollywood's Golden Boy, and in a career that spanned over a quarter of a century, he made 60 movies give or take (as the numbers vary). He is credited with a great number of dramatic (Lux Radio) and comedic radio programs and was a favourite guest and prankster on TV. He also had his own show 'The Errol Flynn Theatre' in 1957 that shot twenty six, 30 minute episodes. Errol Flynn has been the subject of several movies, documentaries & books. In fact more movies have been made, and more books written about Flynn than any other celebrity, though sadly not all factual.

It has been reported that his movie sets were filled with Flynn'esque antics; practical jokes and laughter. He has had a prolific list of memorable performances, and some, later in life questionable and a target of criticsm and snickers.

Errol Flynn had more than just physical beauty, he was blessed with a dynamic presence, physical prowess and grace on screen. As his career progressed so did his need for more depth as an actor. Sadly, and to his frustration he was type cast as the hero/swashbuckler and with the exception of a few, the meaty roles he wanted passed him by.

Those who loved him, loved him without judgement, and almost 50 years after his passing he is still the celebrated man about town. Simply put, there's no one like Flynn and there never will be.

While I have spent almost a lifetime adoring Errol Flynn and reading up on him, it's been a few years (where time allows) that I've been researching, acquiring, accumulating and buying (books, magazines, photographs) some of which have been shared by others for the website. Still, there are some holes in the movie images, advertising & cinema cards. I would like to ask anyone with material to please share them on this website.
